All In-House, All Organic

We are not resellers - we propagate all of the plants that we sell. Most are seed propagated, though we do take cuttings and divisions as well.

100% of our products are certified organic by NOFA-NY, LLC.

Mostly Native

Most of the plants we offer are upland and coastal natives to northeastern North America. We always look for local ecotype seed first, and often collect it ourselves if it is not available commercially.

We also offer exotic (non-native) plants, but only those that we know do not spread very much or at all in gardens and landscapes. We do not sell anything that we know to be invasive.

Mostly Plug Trays

We grow a lot of mature plants from plugs. We like plugs! They are easier to plant on a large scale than quarts or gallons, saving money with less time spent planting. Smaller plants are more economical and also have higher survival rates than larger, more mature specimens.

We offer plug trays in 4 sizes:

• Deep 50s

• Deep 30s

• Regular 72s

• Regular 50s

We also occasionally offer bare root plants for sale when we have to move or divide plants on the farm.

Mostly Perennials

We primarily grow herbaceous perennials, though we also offer annuals and biennials, and some woody plants.

Many Cut Flowers

We began as cut-flower growers, and this has tended to influence which plants we grow. All of our non-native plants make great cut-flowers, and many of our native plants do as well. We believe that native cut-flowers, foliages, and seedheads influence the kinds of plants people desire for their gardens and landscapes.
