Tubers have been separated from their clumps, arriving as individuals, each ready to make a new dahlia plant
Tuber sizes vary widely but do not have a significant effect on the size of the plant you grow.
These babies are priced to sell - because we really want you to grow them! In your pots, in your garden, your neighbor’s garden, in your raised bed, in your community garden or wherever you can. Just remember, wherever you plant them, more sun = more blooms. No/low sun = no/few blooms.
We will only ship you tubers that have at least one visible/viable eye - this is where the aboveground part of the plant will grow from.
Orders will be shipped beginning in April, in the order that they are received.
We ship tubers via the USPS, in flat rate boxes - so it pays to fill the box!
When you receive your tubers, open your package immediately. Either plant them in pots according to the instructions below, or keep them in a paper bag in a cool, dark, place until you are ready to plant them. If your tubers fail to sprout within 6 weeks of planting, please let us know and we will try to make things right by sending replacement tubers or a similar variety, depending on availability, or we will refund the purchase price of your tubers. We cannot refund shipping costs.
For orders larger than the quantities available in our shop, please get in touch with us by email.
